Voting impediments are oppressive

Editor,

Letter to the Arkansas Secretary of State Mark Martin:

I am appalled by the news that Trump’s new “Voting Integrity Commission” has requested very extensive information about each voter from each Secretary of State for all 50 states. The person that Trump has appointed as head of the “Commission” is notorious for his efforts to make voting more difficult… in short, what many of believe is voter suppression. His and Trump’s motives are extremely suspect to those of us who believe in universal suffrage.

As I am sure you are aware, Trump holds firm to the egoistic delusion that he actually won the popular vote, but for three million fraudulently cast votes. This, despite the fact that there is no evidence of such fraud. He is already campaigning for re-election, and I can only believe that his wish is to purge three million voters from the rolls before 2020.

I beg you to resist this effort altogether, but at the very least, refuse to provide any voter information that is not available to the public already!

Thank you for your service to the people of the State of Arkansas.
