Plaintiff Paul Minze, who has been diligently attempting to restore his property at 35 Mountain St. in Eureka Springs, is petitioning the County Court on June 12, 2018, to allow the commencement of exterior restoration on the roof and porch of his property.
In February 2016, the City of Eureka Springs forced all restoration work on the property to cease at the behest of the Historic District Commission over a dispute with the plaintiff regarding the placement of one window. This has caused the plaintiff undue hardship and expense as the HDC and City previously voted for and approved planned restoration work on the property.
The plaintiff is petitioning the court to allow the roof and porch work to commence.
The Tuesday, June 12 hearing will be held at the Hon. Scott Jackson’s circuit court at 9 a.m. at the county courthouse in Eureka Springs. All are welcome.
