SixtyOn, the acoustic stylings of Mike Gruning, is so named for the classic sounds of the ‘60s and ‘70s that have influenced his work. Accomplished in the soft rock and acoustic genre, Gruning has written and produced his own ballads. As he puts his own twist on old favorites, his ability to create a lively atmosphere and get the audience to dance and sing along make for a fun night. You can hear SixtyOn at Nyx Cafe, Eureka’s newest restaurant and bar that has excellent burgers and hot rox cooking. He will be there every Friday night in January at 6:30 p.m.
