Robert “Bob” William Rogers, of Holiday Island, Ark., was born March 11, 1930, in Berwyn, Ill., son of Russell R. and Marjorie (Mau) Rogers. He departed this life July 6, 2019, in Eureka Springs, Ark., at age 89.
Robert was a member of the Elks Lodge in Eureka Springs and the Holiday Island Art Guild. He enjoyed fishing, golf, and photography. Robert was a veteran who served in the Army as an Intelligence Analyst with the Allied Military Government in Trieste, Italy.
He is survived by his wife Mary Patricia Rogers of the home; son Daniel and wife, Ann Rogers, of Houston, Texas; daughter Susan Patricia and husband, Mark Verlander, of San Francisco, Calif.; sister Roberta Kresse of Cumberland, Wisc.; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Russell and Marjorie Rogers, daughter Carol Anne Pillow and brother Richard C Rogers.
