The Pinetop Renegades are a true Ozarks band, with well-written originals that speak to the heart of anyone from Northwest Arkansas. The deep vocals of Dave Smith, also on lead guitar, are spot on for delivering their soulful country tunes such as “Out of Here” and “Backwoods.” Joining Dave on stage are four more renegades; Cryssie Hale on vocals, Don Mayall on drums, Dave Bostwick on keyboard/harmonica and Jonny Morden on bass. A PTR show is a mix of your favorite country, rock and blues peppered with Renegade originals. They have developed quite a following as frequent guests on the Cathouse stage, you can see them at the Cathouse Lounge Saturday from 8-11 p.m.
