Penelope “Penny” A Jones, 67, of Eureka Springs and Berryville, Ark., passed away Oct. 30 2018. She entered this world Nov. 20, 1950, in Providence, Rhode Island, the daughter of John and Stella (Wells) Jones. Her parents and a brother, Philip Edward Jones, have preceded her in death.
Penny enjoyed sewing, going for a jog, flipping houses, playing Scrabble, cooking, and especially being in nature. For 30 years she was a typesetter for a newspaper.
Penny loved life and was always thinking of others. She had a big heart. Her sense of humor made her a special person, always keeping everyone laughing. She will be greatly missed.
Penny is survived by her brother, John Henry Jones; sister-in-law, Karen Jones; niece, Heather Jones; nephew John David Jones. She will also be missed by her dear friend and caretaker, Karen Fererro. She became like family to her friends (son) David Patel, (daughter) Gina Patel, (grandson) Kalan Patel, (granddaughter) Gia Patel, and (baby sister) Tara Patel.
