Myrtle Ruth “Tootie” Schneider of Holiday Island, Ark., was born Feb. 23, 1929, in Middlesboro, Ky., to Joseph and Cashie (Minton) Standifer. Tootie passed away on July 5, 2021, in Eureka Springs at age 92.
Tootie is survived by her sons, Greg Schneider and wife, Vicki, of Holiday Island, Steven Schneider and wife, Mickey, of Eureka Springs; sisters, Betsy Standifer Perkins of Tennessee and Jane Standifer Cox of Tennessee; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; along with other family members and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Shaffer Schneider; parents, Joseph and Cashie Standifer; three brothers and five sisters.
Graveside service was July 12 at Eureka Springs Cemetery with Rev. Tim Garrison officiating.
