Merwyn Loyd Reid of Holiday Island, Ark., was born Sept. 15, 1942 in Fayetteville, Tenn., son of Winford and Ruby (Edmondson) Reid. He departed this life Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, at Holiday Island, Ark., at age 75.
He is survived by his daughter Erika Stuart and husband, Michael, of Taft, Tenn.; son, Jesse Reid and wife, Jana, of Springdale, Ark.; daughter, Stacey Reid of Puerto Rico; brother, Royce Reid and wife, Sandra, of Fort Worth, Texas; five grandchildren; Josh Morrow and wife, Blanca, of California; Sydney Williams and Makenzie Williams of Taft, Tenn.; Lyam Reid of Springdale, Ark.; Evelyn Reid of Fayetteville, Tenn., and Evelyn Reid of Springdale, Ark.; six great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and loved ones.
On Dec. 18, 1973, he was united in marriage to Robbie (Vance) Reid who preceded him in death.
