A re-dedication for the Doughboy in Basin Park was held on May 24 after Norton Arts, through a grant form the Department of Arkansas Heritage, restored the statue. Mayor Butch Berry issued a proclamation, Glenna Booth gave the history and Loretta Crenshaw sang In Flanders Fields.
