Mark Barger is a singer/songwriter from Springfield who takes the stage with an acoustic guitar and pours out his heart, somehow managing to speak to yours. The heartfelt lyrics and impassioned performance are meant to leave some degree of interpretation for the audience; he will share his story but wants to allow the music to evoke a story from you as well. Since the release of his debut album in 2017, he has added looping skills to his show, enhancing a sound that was already enchanting. His song “In the Stars,” written about and to his love, highlights the songwriting skills that keep him in demand. Head down to Brews on Friday at 7 p.m. to be thoroughly entertained.
