Losing it but keeping it together

I am going to admit I am going stir crazy being stuck inside with the cold weather. Easter was good though, got to make spaghetti with homemade sauce, which Leo enjoyed to no end and I watched my parents hunt plastic eggs in our house. They’ve been the only visitors since all of this crazy virus stuff has unfolded.

This Tuesday I have been listening to The Irie Lions, a fun band to listen to on deadline day. Reggae isn’t a typical genre for me to listen to, but these are not typical times and having music that makes me think of fruity drinks and warm summer days is exactly what I need to know things are going to get better.

Eureka Music Revival is the husband and wife duo of Jason and Lorrie Davis. They’ve described their music as putting multiple genres in a blender and I think it makes for some fun music. A little bit of blues, folk and rockabilly all swirled together and easy to digest. They are on my list to listen to tonight while doing dishes as their album Head for the Hills will keep my head bobbing.

Anyway I am going to go back to going nuts while waiting for the weather to warm up. Once the temperature is friendlier it’ll be back to yard work. We have a ton of blackberries on the hillside behind our house that need a good trimming. In the meantime, signing off.
