Route 358 is a family band from Fayetteville that will impress patrons of Brews with an acoustic Bluegrass/Americana show on Friday. With multiple string instruments and dual vocalist, the Mears family creates a unique sound influenced by rock, country and roots. Two album releases have been met with acclaim and earned Route 358 a nomination for “Americana/Roots Artist of the Year” from the Arkansas Country Music Awards. The upbeat, lively sound of pure strings and blending vocals of dad Derrick and daughter Jade shine a spotlight on original songwriting that will take this toe tap inducing group far.
