I was driving home the other day when men from Public Works were busy repairing the potholes on our street. I said, “Happy Holidays and thank you for keeping our streets driveable. We appreciate your work.”
He looked startled. “Well, thank you for saying so. We don’t hear that very much.”
I think we citizens of Eureka Springs are so very fortunate to have good service from Public Works. Every time I have called them for help, they are prompt, polite and efficient.
I want to wish all of Eureka’s public servants a joyous and restful holiday season. You all are great!
