Jeanne Marie Riggins Petter, 87, of Eureka Springs, Ark., passed away on Jan. 2, 2021. Jeanne was born on Dec. 27, 1933 in Silver City, Iowa, to Donald and Bonnie Riggins. Her brother, Jimmy Riggins, preceded her in death in 1987 and Edward Riggins (83) of West Palm Beach, Fla., survives her.
Jeanne is survived by her four children Scott, Daun, Dirk and Rhonda, all of Eureka Springs. She is survived by two granddaughters, Jessica, and Lindsey & husband Justin Pulvermacher. She has two great-grandchildren, Holden and Everett Pulvermacher and is remembered by countless friends and family members.
Jeanne was very involved in Al-Anon, dedicating her life in the service of helping others on their road to recovery. She was a national speaker and the delegate for Arkansas representing Al-Anon in New York. She helped start Summertime in the Ozarks conference and was always a lively presence.
Jeanne was a wonderful listener, a gifted speaker, a beloved mother and grandmother and had the patience of a saint. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched.
