At the Feb. 25 short council workshop, the city reported the Auditorium insurance and utilities expenses for January were $5,142, and the CAPC reported additional expenses associated with the Auditorium to be $11,328 (includes $3,666 for a technical director, $3,078 for an events coordinator, $1,200 for programming, and $2,846 marked “other”). The CAPC reported the income earned by the Auditorium in January was $0.00 for concessions, $250 “other,” and $0.00 event ticket sales.

The Aud for January cost the city $16,470 and earned $250 revenue for a loss of $16,220. The only portion of this information that council was provided with on Monday was the insurance and utility expense because the CAPC directs its own finances without city council purview.
