The Highlander boys’ soccer team traveled to Lead Hill last week to take on the Bergman Bobcats. The game started off slow, and the first half ended with a 3-1 lead for Eureka. The boys came back after halftime and were able to score seven more goals before the end of the game, giving them a 10-1 victory.
Kayden Eckman and Zach Nelson scored four goals each. Isaiah McCurry was carried off of the field after a collision with the Bergman goalie during the second half, He was taken to the emergency room where he was diagnosed with a concussion.
The boys and girls will play Lincoln at Lincoln on Wednesday, April 17, and Green Forest at home on Thursday.
