Hello, my friends, we don’t talk enough about the sightseeing tours that we have done on the river mainly but are now offering on the lake. Since the Belle of the Ozarks is close temporarily, we thought we would offer it for the time being.

Whether you choose the river or the lake, it will be nice to get out and get a different view of your surroundings. I have taken many, some like to get a view of where they are staying from the water. I have taken people wanting to buy a home on Table Rock Lake, they wanted to see the view from the lakeside. A Realtor hired us out for that one and made the sale.

The picture this week is of one of our sightseeing that day we were able to see the dam below Beaver Lake and then headed to the Beaver bridge.

Fishing is good everywhere. The lakes are good for me at sunset using topwater fishing, that stays on the top making action. I like the Whopper Plopper, it delivers a sputtering topwater disruption, I seem to catch larger fish on them. But my go-to is the Tiny Torpedo, I get more action on it, usually smaller fish, but fun. This action can happen with fishing from the bank.

I have heard good news about the bottom bouncer, it’s typically used for drifting or trolling natural live bait, artificial plastics, spinners, spoons, and crankbaits. For this you’ll need a boat.

If all of this is a foreign language to you then you need to go to the Beaver Dam Store your headquarters for info to get out on the water to catch the big ones –proof is on the store’s walls. The whole staff has fished lifespans and has the skill to head you need. Fly fishing, bait fish, jug fish, troll, lure fishing – if the person you catch in the store can’t help, they can refer you to who can.
