I hope everyone is enjoying this great weather. Hope you are able to get out and fish, hike, bike, canoe, kayak, rock climb, camp, motorboat, sail, horseback ride, and hunt. Hunting season is here, so on your hikes or activities in the woods it would be a good idea to wear bright clothing.

Time spent outdoors and playing in parks and other green spaces can lower blood pressure, fight obesity and improve eyesight, boost mental health, and reduce stress. Fishing is supposed to be relaxing, but when I go with my son, daughters, and husband, it seems to turn into a competition. But it is always fun.

Even if you have never gone fishing before, you can try it now. I can guarantee fishing will give you an unforgettable experience. All you need to do is give us a call and we will get you out on the water.  Don`t forget we also do sightseeing tours for people not interested in fishing. We can take groups out on the river where we usually see wildlife and give some history of our beautiful White River. I have even taken some sweet ladies from Berryville down to Beavertown and we got some pizzas at the Hott Boxx, (rated 10 in my book). Yummm! They had their pizza eaten by the time we got back to the boat ramp.

We have several sightseeing trips booked for mid-October so they can see the leaves changing colors. I have taken some people out who were purchasing some property in Holiday Island that they wanted to see from the water. That is why we’re called Custom Adventures Guide Service.

As far as fishing goes it`s good everywhere. Beaver Lake and Table Rock Lake are producing well with walleye, all bass, and even good reports on crappie. The White River is hot right now, last week we had some happy campers. On Thursday I took Carol and Dave Baas out on a trip, and he pulled in this nice Rainbow weighing in at 5 pounds. Then on Saturday we got to pull in a 4.6 pound Rainbow on a company trip in which we had three boats out. More on that one next week.

Hope this article finds you all happy and healthy. Get out and get some of these wonderful Ozarks Mountains. If you need some assistance planning your adventure, give us a call Custom Adventures Guide Service at (479) 363-9632. For more pictures and great videos look us up on Facebook. Remember take a kid fishing.
