Fishing is intense. Below the Beaver Lake Dam is full of multipliable fish.
Water temps are higher because they are letting water out of the floodgates, a beautiful sight to see. With temperatures up, some fish come from Table Rock Lake not knowing where the lake ends and the river begins, some are coming spawn. And a few have slipped through the dam itself.
We have seen spoonbill, gar, white bass, stripers, walleye, smallmouth, shad, and trout galore. So, it was a great week of fishing for my Dallas girls coming in to stay at Sugar Ridge Resort. It`s an annual event for 20 + years to celebrating Vanessa Wade`s birthday.
This year she had six other friends to join in on the fun. We fished four full days in a row with two boats out. With fishing here for over 20 years and seeing the floodgates open they knew what stick to pull out. We ended up catching white bass, walleye and harvested enough trout to take home to the neighbors.
