This week I experienced some diehards, no matter how cold it was in the morning they were on the water at daylight.

The report I got this week was from Jackson Butt, 4th generation native and wild son of the Ozarks, who has been fishing since he could walk and fly fishing soon after.

He can help you get onto multi-species.

Smallmouth may be the main event, but other species like walleye, largemouth bass, spotted bass, gar, sunfish, and

redhorse suckers can be targeted or caught as by-catch.

One of the things I love about his guide service is he always has a camera with him and he’s a superb photographer, so along with your guided trip, you will have pictures of your memories that are out of this world – artwork, perfectly captured in stunning detail. You might want to capture Jackson Butt and have a trip that’s totally an experience of a lifetime, kingsriverguide.com (479) 409-9603

Jackson said, “Walleye season? Smallmouth pre-spawn? Why not both? There ain’t an easier time in the Ozarks to get a limit of walleye and a trophy smallmouth in the same day, especially if you’re tossing flies. Experience the beauty and majesty of the Kings River, come on. Fly, conventional, or combination excursions are still available but filling in fast.”

February 15 to April 15 is right for walleye, extended to the end of April for smallmouth and white bass.

This trip is worth your money in more ways than one.

Jon and Alyssa Dergazarian from Fayetteville went out with Jackson and got their picture in the paper!

If you need help getting a guide for any species or want to go trout fishing trip or sightseeing trip on the White River, give me a call at Custom Adventures Guide Service (479) 244-5259 we can all go. Catching smallmouth and a walleye in the same day would be high for me, I’m for sure going with him. This is a dream trip for me.
