Good day, my fellow outdoor enthusiasts. Please be careful going out into the woods these days. The snakes are getting out and enjoying this weather basking in the sun just like us.

I got some great advice from Mike Henry, which is to switch gears from fishing to turkey hunting these days. While trampling in the woods be sure to wear your snake boots and always be aware of your surroundings even in the trees.

Snakes can be anywhere. Once upon a time my friend and I were fishing along the banks of a creek, and decided to take a break under a willow tree. As we were sitting there, I looked above her head, and I told her to slowly slip away, because I saw there was one hanging right above her head in the willow tree.

She didn’t ask why and also didn’t panic, she slipped away slowly, everything was good.

I also had an uncle who said that snakes won’t mess with you if you don’t mess with them and I said really? How many times have you been bit? And he said three…

Seems like Beaver Lake action is hotter than ever. Crappie, walleye and bass fixing to pick up even more. Water temps are perfect.
