Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge will offer two different summer day camps for kids ages 6-8 and 9-12. Children can participate in the Exploring Your Wild Side and/or the Wildlife Adventure Camp. The first will allow children to discover the roles of wild animals play throughout the world and will take place Jun 6 – 8 for kids aged 6-8 and June 25 – 27 for kids aged 9–12.
Wildlife Adventure Day Camp will encourage participants to take part in activities, crafts, games, and more to explore the world of wildlife. Attendees age 6-8 can attend July 11 – 13 and those 9-12 can attend June 27 – 29.
Cost is $75 per child and includes lunch and materials. There is a limit of 12 spots per camp. Scholarship opportunities are available to help offset costs. Email education@turpentinecreek.org for more information.
