Butch Berry has conceded the election for mayor of Eureka Springs to Mayor-elect Steve Holified, according to Carroll County Clerk Connie Doss, writing at 1:21 p.m., Nov. 4, “I hereby concede that Steve Holifield has won the mayoral race and I am no longer running as Mayor. Respectfully yours, Robert “Butch” Berry
Butch Berry served effectively for the community for a long time. We certainly salute his decision to withdraw. Steve Holifield should continue to give Eureka and surrounding areas solid leadership.
