Eureka Springs has been celebrating Mardi Gras all month long and the celebrations won’t be ending until next Tuesday. Time to get out that Krazo outfit you have, put on those beads, and step out into Eureka nightlife for some Mardi Gras parties before it’s too late. Friday night at the Inn of the Ozarks is the Joker’s Masquerade Ball with music by DJ Testube. If you haven’t been to a party with him as DJ you are missing out, the man knows how to put the “dance” in dance floor. The Eureka Gras Day parade is at 2 p.m. so you can watch it roll by on Spring St. before heading to the Cathouse for a beer and their Carnival Mardi Gras Party at 3 p.m. In the evening Chelsea’s will be holding their own Mardi Gras with Crescent City Combo, a fantastic funk and groove band that’ll get your hands a’snappin’. We’d also like to mention, before we let you go, that there will be a celebration of life for ‘Big Al’ Muyskens at 2 p.m. at Chelsea’s. It’s a potluck and a time to share stories of him, so don’t forget them.
