Thanks for your mention about the Cheryl Maples Plaque.
We have decided that the $6200 requested by the artist is too much for volunteers to collect. Therefore, Zeek Taylor, a committee member, is researching various companies on-line that can produce a lovely likeness of Mrs. Maples in bronze with appropriate words for much less money.
We would like to have the plaque finished, the installation done, and at a future Diversity Weekend bring many people to Eureka to participate in honoring Cheryl Maples who did so much for Arkansas’ LGBTQ folks.
