Thank you to everyone of Eureka Springs, all of our sponsors and volunteers for making Fall Diversity weekend 2019 a huge success.
We had visitors from all over the country, many for the first time. We welcomed the Iconic legend, Lady Bunny to town, we welcomed performers from RuPaul’s Drag Race and many other musicians.
OUT magazine, the largest LGBTQ+ publication in the world, sent their chief editor, Nico Lang from Los Angeles to Eureka Springs for four days to tour our city, interview locals and attend every event he could.
I am still working on the final numbers of attendance based on the surveys, but Out in Eureka purchased 600 flower leis to give out in the park for the PDA and out of the 600 we have 17 left.
I hope everyone had great numbers at their businesses this weekend. I am looking forward to Diversity Weekends in 2020. We have already begun talks with great entertainers for next year.
