Steve Allen Holmes of Eureka Springs, Ark., was born November 7, 1952 in Kansas City, Kan., son of Robert Lee and Ona Kathryn (Callahan) Holmes. He departed this life Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018 in Eureka Springs, Ark., at age 65.
Steve was the owner/operator of Certified Appliance in Eureka Springs. He enjoyed antiques, hot rods and spending time with his grandkids. Steve was a dedicated husband, father, son and Papa who will be missed by all.
On July 4, 2001 he was united in marriage to Debra Leona (Brown) Holmes who survives him. He is also survived by his six children, Ryan Holmes and fiancé, Jonnie; Bobby Holmes and wife, Heidi; Gary Holmes and wife, Jennifer; Arin Hendrickson and wife, Terrie; Blake Hendrickson; Amanda Cox; mother, Katy Holmes; sister, Janet Edmonson and husband, Ken; sister, Denise Holmes; brother, Robert Holmes and wife, Cindy; 14 grandchildren, Tyler Hendrickson, Craig Shelton, Kent Shelton, Scott Shelton, Zach Hendrickson, Diego Holmes, Elle Hendrickson, Brayden Hendrickson, Penelope Holmes, Zoe Hendrickson, Cullen Hendrickson, Liam Hendrickson, Bree Holmes, Kade Holmes; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Holmes.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel, Berryville, Arkansas with Rev. Drew Durham officiating.
