Christopher Alvard, 37, was killed in his home at 674 County Road 116, near Eureka Sproings, at about 1 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 8. The death is being investigated as a homicide by Arkansas State Police who were asked to assist by the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office.
Alvard’s body has been taken to the Arkansas State Crime Lab in Little Rock to determine cause of death.
