This weekend was a real treat, first, got to have the first full date night away from both kids in a long time with my wife. Thank you to Kris and Christina! Second, went to my first Melonlight Productions show, I Haunt You, and it was stunning. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time despite them giving me a pass to take photos, hence why you are getting the selfie they allow at the start of the show. I couldn’t look away or be distracted enough to get my phone out. The story has twists and turns, and the intensity turns up quick, which I loved. Though Ange had to get on to me about holding her too tightly. There’s still two more shows you can purchase tickets for this Saturday and next before they move to working on their next production. I highly suggest it. On suggestions from our list below, let’s talk Cocktails for a Cause once again. It’s two of three this month and this season the funds go to the ES Historical Museum! I’m going to support our growing history this Thursday, at Brews at 5 p.m. Any time I visit the museum I learn something either from one of the employees or from Jeff Danos himself. It’s a treasure trove of Eureka Springs knowledge that needs to be preserved; let’s all help do so! ~ j
