August 7

2:55 a.m. – A guest at a downtown hotel was reportedly disturbing those in another room. Officers made contact with the front desk, and all was fine although the subject was not located.

7:53 p.m. – Caller said a male lifted a can of beer from a liquor store and ran out the door. Officers found the subject with the beer. Caller said they did not want to press charges but also did not want the suspect to return to the store. The subject was advised of this.

7:54 p.m. – A male in a grocery store parking lot was said to be scaring customers and tampering with vehicles. Officer made contact with the male, who was advised to leave and not return to the property.

8 p.m. – A subject was arrested on a local warrant.

8:11 p.m. – A suspicious vehicle in a motel parking lot that didn’t seem to be registered to a guest was verified as belonging to someone staying there.

8:40 p.m. – The owner of a residence requested that an ex-tenant be trespassed from her property. The ex-tenant was advised and agreed not to return since she no longer lived there.

August 8

5:19 p.m. – Officers responded to a vehicle accident. The vehicle was towed and the scene cleared.

7:13 p.m. – Officers made contact with an erratic driver and advised that he needed EMS. The vehicle was towed, and the subject arrested on local charges.

9:25 p.m. – Caller reported someone pointing a white light up at airplanes flying in the sky. Officer checked the area and found no one with any lights or lasers.

August 9

12:06 a.m. – A father who received some suspicious messages from his son asked for a welfare check. Officers made contact and the son was fine.

5:12 a.m. – A highway business alarm went off and the building was found to be secure.

6:19 a.m. – A front door burglar alarm went off at the same business and the building was still secure.

10:01 p.m. – Officers received a report of a dog in the road. Officer located it but was unable to catch it. The responsible person said she wasn’t able to catch it, either.

11:58 p.m. – Caller said a male was refusing to leave her house. Officer made contact and the parties separated.

August 10

12:28 p.m. – A male was causing a disturbance in a hotel lobby. An officer arrived and the subject left the premises without incident.

9:11 p.m. – An intoxicated female was reported in a business parking lot. Officers arrested her on local charges and outstanding warrants.

August 11

12:53 a.m. – An alarm went off at a Spring Street business and the building was found to be secure.
