Oct. 18

5:09 p.m. – Toilets weren’t working by the Aud, so the bathroom was closed.

5:43 p.m. – A reported intoxicated man was not located.

10:39 p.m. – Employees accidentally tripped a restaurant alarm as they were leaving.

11:29 p.m. – An alarm went off and the building was found to be secure.

Oct. 19

7:08 a.m. – A vehicle was stolen while the owner was inside a business. A report was taken, a BOLO issued, and the vehicle was recovered by a surrounding county sheriff’s office.

10:07 a.m. – Officers checked on an elderly female who was fine.

3:42 p.m. – A one-vehicle traffic accident got a report.

7:35 p.m. – A female requested extra patrol at her business.

Oct. 20

3:02 a.m. – A false alarm went off.

4:48 a.m. – Another false alarm at the same business.

10:25 a.m. – An alarm was set off by accident.

11:22 a.m. – Officers checked on a lost or stolen phone that pinged and then went dead, so it was not located.

11:26 a.m. – A delivery truck that was blocking traffic was moved.

2:41 p.m. – A one-vehicle accident near city hall got a report.

4:19 p.m. – A reckless driver was reported but not located.

10:41 p.m. – A 911 hangup was logged but no distress was found in the area of the call.

11:20 p.m. – A man was arrested following a routine traffic stop.

Oct. 21

8:19 a.m. – A dispute arose between neighbors. One wanted to press assault charges, the other wanted to press trespassing charges. Then neither wanted to press any charges and one couple was trespassed from the others’ property.

1:17 p.m. – A male with a small dog and a guitar was in a motel lobby making employees uncomfortable. He left when officers arrived.

3:15 p.m. – Officers performed a welfare check and notified the sister that all was fine.

5:41 p.m. – Following up on a suspicious vehicle, officers arrested a woman on local charges.

7:43 p.m. – Everything was fine at a welfare check.

Oct. 22

2:03 a.m. – An alarm resulted in a building being cleared and everything found to be fine.

2:20 p.m. – Officer assisted until a deputy arrived to help a child found along on the bike trails. The child was reunited with family.

3:22 p.m. – A two-vehicle accident had no injuries, but one vehicle was towed.

3:24 p.m. – Another two-vehicle accident with no injuries resulted in a tow and a report.

5:13 p.m. – A vehicle tied up traffic while unloading equipment on Spring St. It moved.

6:37 p.m. – A deer caused a one-vehicle accident near the train station. A report was taken.

6:57 p.m. – Officers attempted a traffic stop but the driver took off. After a pursuit and assistance from a neighboring department, an arrest was made.

7:46 p.m. – A suspicious person was checked out and was not suspicious.

10:32 p.m. – False alarm at a highway business where all was found to be fine.

11:13 p.m. – An intoxicated male was given a ride to his hotel.

Oct. 23

12:18 a.m. – Dispatch contacted the source of a 911 hangup, all was fine.

1:49 a.m. – An alarm at a highway business was checked and all was clear.

9:38 a.m. – A possible gas leak downtown got an emergency  response and was turned over to the gas company.

2:11 p.m. – An panic alarm went off, employees said all was OK and that it was accidental.

5:09 p.m. – A suspected drunk driver was reported heading into town, but not located.

11:09 p.m. – False alarm.
