August 29

10:31 a.m. – A suspicious and perhaps homeless female was on a hotel balcony before officers removed her. No report.

12:56 p.m. – An elderly and suspicious and possibly homeless woman was removed from an antique store. No report.

2:08 p.m. – The woman was back at the antique store and refusing to leave. She was transported by EMS for a mental evaluation.

6:29 p.m. – A confused elderly woman went into a motel room, took a shower and was in the lobby wearing one of the motel’s robes. Her husband, who had been searching for her, picked her up.

7:25 p.m. – The husband of the previous call said his wife jumped from his truck while he was pulled over and he needed assistance getting her back in. Officer picked her up and her husband took her home.

8:21 p.m. – A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

August 30

4:06 a.m. – While on patrol, officer spotted a vehicle with two people in a motel parking lot. One occupant had an outstanding warrant, and she was arrested.

5:17 p.m. – An accident on Kingshighway got a report.

6:40 p.m. – A woman who allegedly took too many edibles was transported to ESH.

10:16 p.m. – Caller said a man was passed out in front of a downtown business. Officers woke him up and said he couldn’t sleep there.

10:39 p.m. – A reported suspicious vehicle with a male driver was told to leave a private parking lot.

August 31

8:23 a.m. – A one-vehicle accident in a motel parking lot resulted in a tow and a report.

9:13 a.m. – A one-vehicle accident at Lake Leatherwood resulted in a fatality.

11:56 a.m. – All units responded to a tenant-renter dispute that involved a large knife. Officers remained until tenants removed all their belongings.

2:32 p.m. – Arkansas Game & Fish encountered two people with outstanding warrants. They were transported to jail.

4:25 p.m. – A man in a wheelchair at a restaurant was screaming. Officers told him he had to leave, and he was trespassed from the premises.

10:30 p.m. – Two people got into it at a downtown hotel, but when officers arrived neither wanted to press charges against the other.

Sept. 1

2:08 a.m. – A man sleeping in his car at a park was awakened and told he was violating a city ordinance and must leave.

3:14 a.m. – A man asleep in his vehicle at a clinic was told he couldn’t sleep there.

5:52 a.m. – A man was arrested on local charges at a traffic stop.

7:59 a.m. – Caller said a female was causing a disturbance. She was found walking in the road and officers arrested her on an ESPD warrant.

8:38 a.m. – Caller from a motel said a female was disturbing other guests and needed to be removed from the property. She got someone to pick her up.

11:57 a.m. – A suspiciously parked motorcycle was gone on arrival.

2:50 p.m. – Loud music was turned down at officers’ request.

3:30 p.m. – A private property accident got a report.

4:18 p.m. – A man causing annoyances at a downtown bar was trespassed from the property and arrested on an ESPD warrant.

5:39 p.m. – A vehicle that had been sitting for a while was found to be broken down.

6:17 p.m. – Officers were advised of a suicidal subject who was arrested on a county warrant.

Sept. 2

9:37 a.m. – A residential alarm went off when the owner forgot to turn it off for the handyman.

1:14 p.m. – Officers performed a welfare check on a possibly suicidal woman. She was not at the location but was reached by phone and was fine and not even in the city.

7:34 p.m. – A downtown café caller reported a woman possibly on drugs. She was not located.

Sept. 3

1:29 a.m. – A male said he saw someone outside, but no one was found outside.

9:18 p.m. – The driver of a vehicle on an embankment outside a hotel passed a field sobriety test and a wrecker got the vehicle out of its predicament.

11:19 p.m. – A couple got into a squabble at a B&B, the male left in his pickup but not before causing damage to the front door. Officers spoke to both parties, and he agreed to stay elsewhere for the night and pay for damages.

Sept. 4

12:57 a.m. – EMS was toned out for a man who fell down the stairs of a downtown bar. He was transported.

2:06 a.m. – The hay trailer in a parking lot caught fire, ESPD assisted ESFD, and a report was taken.

2:57 a.m. – A man sleeping in his vehicle at a gas station was assisted to his room.

3:35 a.m. – A guest who was disturbing other guests at a motel agreed to stay in his room for the rest of the night.

4:16 a.m. – A woman spotted during routine patrol was arrested for local charges.

5:06 a.m. – A woman who was screaming at an RV park was transported to ESH.

8:23 a.m. – A private property accident got a report.

1:52 p.m. – An Amazon delivery truck was reported stuck but when officers arrived there was already assistance to help the driver. No damage, no report.

2:28 p.m. – A vehicle/trolley accident with no injuries got a report.

6:56 p.m. – Caller said a man was sitting in a ditch, but he said he was walking to a friend’s and some things dropped out of his backpack so he was picking them up.

6:56 p.m. – CCSO alerted ESPD to a 911 hangup that turned out to be a toddler playing with a phone.

7:12 p.m. – Officer assisted hospital personnel with a non-compliant patient.

11:57 p.m. – A business needed assistance encouraging an intoxicated patron to not drive. Officers got him to a hotel for the night.

Sept. 5

12:32 a.m. – Caller said a daughter’s boyfriend would not leave her apartment. The daughter left the apartment with her father to stay with him for the night.

1:04 a.m. – Caller accidentally set off an alarm and the alarm company alerted ESPD, but it was a false alarm.

1:21 a.m. – Officers checked on a juvenile regarding a disturbance at home, and she said she was fine.

1:25 a.m. – Caller said a door at a shop in a downtown hotel was open and it was, but the door didn’t lead to a business, it was a door that led to other doors, and they were secure.

8:10 a.m. – A private property accident got a report.
