August 23

2:06 a.m. – CCSO informed ESPD of a 911 hangup at a highway motel. When officers checked there was no distress and no one around except a man who said he didn’t call.

2:51 a.m. – There were two more 911 hangups from same location as before, but no response when officer called the number back and there was still no one around and no sign of distress.

5:32 a.m. – A store employee  reported there was a car in the parking lot with someone sleeping, and they wanted it moved. Officer found the car, but no one was in it so the employee was advised they could have the car towed.

8:15 a.m. – Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance between a male and female. It was found to be all verbal.

9:34 a.m. – Caller said a female covered in blood was chasing a male with a knife. When officers arrived, they found the people were chasing their dog and the female was not covered in blood and everybody was calm.

12:26 p.m. – Officers were sent to the same residence due to a male and female arguing. It was all verbal and the subjects were advised to quiet down.

8:51 p.m. – Caller said her camera was picking up a gray or black Chevy pickup in her driveway, then another camera picked up someone with a flashlight on her property. Officers checked the property and found no one.

9:18 p.m. – Caller on East Mountain said there was a bear on her back porch. Officers shooed the bear back into the woods.

11:18 p.m. – EMS was toned to a residence for a domestic with injuries. Officers responded and the female said she did not need EMS. Officers talked to both parties and a report was taken.

August 24

9:54 a.m. – Officers took a report of a commercial burglary at a highway business from the night before.

2 p.m. – When officers were alerted to a possible domestic the male and female had already separated, and all was OK.

5:19 p.m. – Officers helped with an active domestic in the county and CCSO took a report.

6 p.m. – When officers got four 911 hangups in a row they tried contacting the subject 47 times with no answer. When they arrived, the subject said it wasn’t his phone number. The number was run through dispatch and it was the subject’s phone where the 911 calls originated.

6:24 p.m. – Officers were dispatched for a female who said a male threw a beer at her friend and stole the school computer. Officers saw a male run into the woods and checked the area with negative contact.

8:42 p.m. – EMS and officers were paged for a female who could not breathe. She was taken to ESH.

10:07 p.m. – Caller said an intoxicated male was banging on her neighbor’s door for a very long time. Officers cited the male for public intox before he was released to EMS to be mentally evaluated.

August 25

7:56 p.m. – An intoxicated male was arrested was arrested on local charges at a downtown bar.

9:29 p.m. – Officer was flagged down and told that a dark colored vehicle was being driven recklessly and passing on a double yellow line. The vehicle was not located but CCSO was apprised of the information.

9:58 p.m. – No one in distress was located following a 911 hangup.

August 26

5:44 p.m. – A verbal disagreement at a highway fast food restaurant between an employee and a customer was cleared up and there was no report.

8:35 p.m. – A male driving downtown was reportedly saying rude things from his truck. He was not located.

9:27 p.m. – Officers were unable to locate a reported possibly intoxicated driver in an older, single cab pickup.

11 p.m. – Officers were sent to Pine St. due to a noise complaint. they told the subjects to turn the music down.

August 27

12:44 a.m. – Officers told subjects at a highway motel to turn their music down.

2:09 a.m. – Officers were dispatched downtown for a male and female possibly having inappropriate relations in public. The wife, who was sober, drove them home.

4:40 a.m. – A noise complaint at a highway motel got instructions to turn the music down.

11:32 a.m. – A two-vehicle accident in the community center parking lot got a report.

1:11 p.m. – A disorderly patient who was trying to leave ESH was calmed down.

6:24 p.m. – ESPD was advised of a male driving to town from Benton County who was shooting a weapon out his window. Officers and CCSO got him stopped and he was turned over to the county.

10:01 p.m. – Officers went to an inn where a woman who was highly intoxicated was throwing her baby at other people. She was arrested and the baby given back to the father.

10:07 p.m. – A noise complaint resulted in music being turned down.

10:33 p.m. – After being dispatched to a possible domestic it was found to be all verbal.

August 28

12:49 a.m. – Officers were dispatched to a two-motorcycle accident but both motorcycles were gone on arrival.

2:48 p.m. – While patrolling downtown, officers noticed a male trying to solicit in Basin Park. They told him to leave, he did, and there was no report.

4:07 p.m. – A no injury accident downtown got a report.

4:25 p.m. – A disturbance between neighbors required intervention but not a report.

10:46 p.m. – A female said she needed to report something. When officers arrived, she said she just wanted extra patrol around her house.

August 29

7:09 a.m. – A restaurant was broken into and a report taken.
