July 4

2:30 p.m. – Checking on a possible domestic, it was discovered to be verbal only.

5:25 p.m. – A male yelling at restaurant staff was told to leave.

10:56 p.m. – Caller said her neighbor’s music was too loud and it was turned down once officers arrived.

11:18 p.m. – Caller reported an erratic driver and gave a vehicle description, so officers staged at the city limits but were unable to locate either.

July 5

12:12 a.m. – Caller reported loud fireworks coming from the east. Officers located the source and told offenders to stop.

2:24 a.m. – A man was arrested at a traffic stop.

3:11 a.m. – A theft report was taken at a nursing home.

5:55 a.m. – Numerous callers said a man was jumping in front of cars on the highway. He was arrested.

2:50 p.m. – A trolley hit a Honda on Spring St. and a report was taken.

3:13 p.m. – Officers performed a welfare check, and found the person to be fine.

9:15 p.m. – A welfare check found all to be OK.

9:26 p.m. – A tree fell on a vehicle and blocked a portion of Spring St. A report was taken.

11:42 p.m. – Officers responded to a highway bar to assist EMS and turned things over to EMS.

July 6

12:38 a.m. – Caller said someone was in her yard with a flashlight. Turns out it was a neighbor walking a pet and the neighbor went back home.

11:55 p.m. – A motion detector at a highway business went off and was checked, all was fine.

July 7

5:14 a.m. – While on patrol, officer noticed a bank alarm going off and alerted the keyholder who was already on scene turning it off.

7:32 a.m. – A truck driver was reportedly crossing lines and stalling in the road, and then turned down a residential street. He was gone on arrival.

7:54 a.m. – Animal Control responded to a report of abandoned dogs on Wall St., but the dogs’ owners were moving out and the dogs were fine.

1:42 p.m. – Following a two-vehicle accident, one of the drivers was arrested.

10:50 p.m. – Caller reported an intoxicated male. He was arrested.

July 8

12:02 a.m. – Officers and EMS responded to an unresponsive patient at a residence.

9:52 a.m. – Officer went to Black Bass Lake where a man was reported sleeping on a picnic table for over an hour. He was waiting for a ride.

11:11 a.m. – A two-vehicle accident on Main St. had no injuries and there was no road blockage. A report was taken.

6:37 p.m. – A male undergoing withdrawal at ESH and trying to bust out windows required police intervention.

9:08 p.m. – Someone left a dog at a highway convenience store and the number on the dog’s collar went to Good Shepherd Humane Society, so officer took the dog to ESPD.

July 9

8:41 a.m. – A lady lying on the ground outside a downtown restaurant was arrested.

3:35 p.m. – Officer was alerted to a dog in a locked car with the windows up, but the vehicle was gone on arrival.

July 10

10:05 a.m. – When officers responded to a possible domestic, the responsible person said she did not want to file a report.

10:14 a.m. – An unknown vehicle was parked in a handicapped spot at a downtown church but turns out it was owned by a church member so no action was pursued.

2 p.m. – A business owner said someone stole a black, round rug from her shop, so the cop contacted the thief and said return it. The shop owner added that the person not come back.

11:08 p.m. – Officers got a report of a motion alarm on the west entry of a bank, so they checked it out and all was secure.

July 11

12:05 a.m. – A wanted person was arrested at a traffic stop.

1:56 a.m. – Caller asked officer to do a check on a vehicle in the hospital parking lot that had been there for a few days. It belonged to a patient.
