June 13

10:05 a.m. – Officers were dispatched to a call about a male driving up and down Pivot Rock Rd. screaming for a female. Screamer not located.

11:15 a.m. – A one-vehicle accident on Hillside got a report.

12:14 p.m. – Officers were asked to investigate a motorcycle accident on Spring St. but no motorcycle was located.

12:54 p.m. – An alarm went off on Mountain St. Officers checked it and everything was found to be secure.

4:38 p.m. – A box truck was blocking the road near Spring and King Sts., and it was moved once officers arrived.

7:11 p.m. – A report was taken involving a damaged boat and tree on Main St.

9:13 p.m. – Officers were requested to do a welfare check on a child. The child was OK and a misunderstanding between neighbors was found to be the case.

9:28 p.m. – A report was taken following a domestic disturbance.

10 p.m. – No report was needed for a man with no money trying to get food at a highway convenience store.

June 14

11:22 a.m. – An officer determined that a female who was feeling very dizzy and sick should have the assistance of EMS.

June 15

11:56 a.m. – ESPD was advised that a gray Harley motorcycle being driven crazily was coming through town from the west. Officers were unable to locate such a thing.

2:06 p.m. – Caller said two young children were inside a vehicle with the windows up. The vehicle was gone on arrival.

2:17 p.m. – A vehicle was reported for being in a No Parking zone on Singleton for several days. It was not located.

8:48 p.m. – A report of people fighting in a theater parking lot on the historic district was checked but no one was found.

9:16 p.m. – An arrest was made on N. Main following a traffic stop.

June 16

2:45 a.m. – Officers contacted a welfare concern, and everything was OK.

7:33 a.m. – Officers were told a stolen vehicle from another jurisdiction was at an apartment within the city limits, but that turned out not to be accurate.

9:16 a.m. – Another call came in about the vehicle parked on Singleton for several days. The owner was contacted and it was moved.

9:24 a.m. – Officers responded to Dogwood Ridge, where knocked over signs and fencing led to a vehicle in the ravine. It was pulled out by a wrecker and a property damage report was taken.

10:09 a.m. – A moving truck knocked over a tree on the caller’s property on King St., and the fallen tree knocked out power lines. The vehicle was gone on arrival, the power company and Public Works were notified, and the street was closed until the tree was removed.

11:06 a.m. – A wanted male was reportedly walking on Van Buren but officers found no one matching that description.

6:39 p.m. – Officers performed a welfare check on a female who was fine.

10:15 p.m. – Caller said a male in a Jeep hit another vehicle and left the scene, then got out of the Jeep and walked up Center toward Spring. Officer made contact and arrested a man for pubic intox, then checked the vehicle parked next to the Jeep and saw no damage. The caller was not interested in filling out a witness statement.

June 17

1:17 a.m. – A commercial highway alarm went off and was checked. There was no one inside or outside the building and the alarm was reset.

10:55 p.m. – A female was arrested at a traffic stop.

June 18

2:25 a.m. – A man was arrested for DWI at a traffic stop on US62E.

12:07 p.m. – A warrant arrest was made following a traffic stop.

12:50 p.m. – Public Works was notified of a sewer backup at a W. Van Buren business.
