Sept. 14

9:47 p.m. – An officer took a report of damage done to a car by a grass trimmer.

3:46 p.m. – A man was arrested following a disturbance at an apartment complex.

6:46 p.m. – When an officer responded to Vaughn St. to check a suspicious vehicle nothing untoward was found.

7:02 p.m. – Officer checked out a called in suspicious person, made contact, and all was fine.

7:06 p.m. – Response to a welfare concern resulted in an officer making contact with the subject who was fine.

11:39 p.m. – Officer responded to a Spring St. business to assist another agency.

Sept. 15

4 a.m. – Officers responded to a motorcycle accident on US62.

9:50 a.m. – A private property accident got a report.

11:18 a.m. – A guest who refused to leave her room after checkout time was moved right along.

1 p.m. – The same woman was arrested for trespassing, public intox and refusal to submit.

2:21 p.m. – Following a call from CCSO about a reckless driver heading to town, the vehicle was stopped and the driver arrested.

5:26 p.m. – An accident on Magnetic Rd. was relayed to CCSO as it was in the county.

8:17 p.m. – Caller said a male was in a heated discussion in a parking lot, but he was gone on arrival.

9:36 p.m. – A front door bank alarm came in, so officer checked and cleared the property.

10:30 p.m. – A man was arrested for public intox after meandering into road.

11:14 p.m. – A front door bank alarm again went off and the property was again found to be secure.

Sept. 16

4:37 a.m. – A dog got reported for barking but it disappeared before it got busted.

8:26 a.m. – A phone report on stolen or mislaid property was taken.

3:47 p.m. – Officer took a report of an accident in front of Public Works.

4:17 p.m. – A suspicious person was reported on N. Main, but not located.

4:39 p.m. – Officers were asked to be on the lookout for a Subaru Impreza stolen from Holiday Island.

Sept. 17

10:51 a.m. – A two-vehicle accident on US62 by the community center was reported.

4:33 p.m. – An alarm went off at another bank and was checked and cleared.

9:41 a.m. – Officers were asked to be on the lookout for a vehicle and suspect from Huntsville.

10:02 p.m. – A Madison County woman was arrested on an outstanding ESPD warrant and other local charges. She was jailed awaiting bond.

Sept. 18

9:57 a.m. – A criminal mischief report was checked out.

4:58 p.m. – Officer was asked to make a report regarding someone who threw rocks at an open tram. Officer took a statement.

5:40 p.m. – A vehicle was stuck at Mountain and Main Sts., and officer assisted with its positioning.

6:50 p.m. – A vehicle that was reportedly hogging a no parking place was also partially in the road. And then it wasn’t even there when officer arrived.

8:57 p.m. – CCSO advised of a 911 hangup to which officer responded and spoke with the caller.

9:02 p.m. – A belligerent intoxicated male got himself arrested.

11:58 p.m. – Officers spoke with both parties in a domestic dispute and informed them that it was a civil matter.

Sept. 19

12:19 a.m. – Caller said he heard noises downstairs in a non-rented apartment. Officers found no sign of anyone.

6:44 a.m. – A parking problem at White and Elk Sts. was resolved.

12:04 p.m. – A violating parker on Flint St. got a citation.

6:06 p.m. – Caller was worried about a friend he had not heard from in several weeks. Officer checked on and cleared the friend.

9:03 p.m. – A domestic disturbance in a parking lot resulted in officers speaking with and clearing the involved parties.

Sept. 20

4:11 a.m. – Officer took a phone report on a stolen vehicle, but it wasn’t long before a call back confirmed that the vehicle wasn’t actually stolen, rather it was located.

5:09 a.m. – Officer responded to a disturbance.

10:08 a.m. – Caller wanted a woman checked out for peddling artwork and puppets on N. Main without a permit. She told the officer she was not selling, she was looking for donations. Officer advised her to look for a permit when city hall opens on Monday.

11:37 a.m. – A break-in of an apartment on Vaughn was reported and a report taken.

1:54 p.m. – A sick raccoon on Ridgeway was taken care of.

5:02 p.m. – A theft report was taken on White St.

5:25 p.m. – A hit-and-run suspect was reported, but not located, on W. Van Buren.

5:49 p.m. – Officer was flagged down regarding a citizen assist, culminating with a male being escorted to a rehab center.

8:11 p.m. – An erratic moped driver was reported but not located.

11:03 p.m. – An alarm went off at a bar, and officer checked and cleared the building.
