February 24

12:45 p.m. – A person walked into ESPD to file a report on someone violating a contact order.

1:49 p.m. – A woman turned herself in on an outstanding ESPD warrant and was arrested at the courthouse.

3:37 p.m. – A subject possibly violating a protection order was reported but not located in the area of concern.

4:14 p.m. – Officer tended a lady whose car broke down to make sure she was off the road and safe.

5:55 p.m. – A woman acting strange in a parking lot got arrested for public intox.

7:57 p.m. – A disturbance at a downtown bar required intervention.

10:44 p.m. – Officer responded to Rock House Rd. to assist another agency with a possible drunk driver.

February 25

5:35 p.m. – A suspicious couple at a laundromat were checked out.

February 26

1:24 p.m. – Caller asked to make a report about harassing and threatening messages posted online.

5:48 p.m. – McDonald County (Mo.) Sheriff requested a welfare check on a woman who had threatened suicide in their jurisdiction, but her phone pinged in Eureka Springs. Officers checked that area and found neither the woman nor her car.

6:38 p.m. – Caller said a man took his vehicle from his property in town. A report was taken.

February 27

9:50 a.m. – A box truck apparently tore up a yard and hit the corner of a retaining wall on Douglas, so a report was taken.

11:57 a.m. – A vehicle hit a retaining wall on Van Buren and a report was taken.

3 p.m. – Officer responded to a possible domestic disturbance in a vehicle, so he stopped the vehicle and made an arrest.

5:57 p.m. – A suspicious person was reported on Ridgeway.

February 28

12:46 a.m. – A business alarm went off but when checked there was no cause for alarm.

2:43 a.m. – A man on Mill Hollow Rd. was reported for jumping out in front of a tow truck, then jumping back off the road, so the wrecker driver asked for an officer to take a look. Officer looked for the suspect but didn’t locate him.

8:17 a.m. – An alarm was investigated and turned out to be false.

4:13 p.m. – A 911 hangup was checked and everything was A-OK.

10:16 p.m. – A woman was arrested at a traffic stop for DWI #2, refusal to submit to chemical test, driving left of center and careless driving.

February 29

1:47 a.m. – Officer responded to Hilton St. to assist with a trapped raccoon.

6:13 p.m. – A 911 hangup was found to be children playing with a phone.

7:56 p.m. – A 911 hangup was investigated but no distress was discovered.

8:57 p.m. – A traffic hazard on W. Van Buren was cleared.

March 1

3:33 a.m. – Officer responded to an anxious business alarm.

1:48 p.m. – Caller said a pit bull mix attacked another dog at the dog park, but the pit bull and its owner were gone when officer arrived. The other dog had no physical injuries.

3:56 p.m. – A suspicious person was reported on Van Buren and talked to by an officer and decided to leave the property.

8:11 p.m. – A neighbor reported a man hadn’t picked up his mail for a couple of days. The man was declared an unattended death.

9:58 p.m. – Officer responded to a disturbance at a motel but no report was required.

March 2

4:36 a.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported at a convenience store but was gone on arrival.
