January 27

1:31 a.m. – A hit deer warranted a response.

5:48 a.m. – Burglar alarm on E. Van Buren bellowed. All was secure.

6:50 a.m. – Business alarm was checked, everything was fine.

11:10 a.m. – Officer picked up a man at the Benton County jail on an ESPD warrant.

8:02 p.m. – Suspicious people were checked but turns out it was an AT&T worker working.

8:53 p.m. – A man was arrested for disorderly, resisting, and public intox near the rehab center on 23 South.

January 28

12:49 a.m. – Officers responded to a possible drug OD at a highway motel.

4:29 p.m. – A “possible deer” was reported in the road on the east side of town.

8:22 a.m. – A disturbance call resulted in arrest of a man who also had an outstanding ESPD warrant.

January 29

1:50 p.m. – A suspicious person going door-to-door on Harvey was checked out.

4:46 p.m. – Restaurant owner was having trouble with an employee who was terminated before officer arrived.

5:45 p.m. – A man was picked up on an outstanding warrant and taken to Carroll County Detention.

7:12 p.m. – A neighbor/tenant dispute required an officer.

January 30

8:41 a.m. – Officer responded to an unattended death.

11:45 a.m. – A wanted person turned himself in and was arrested.

4:14 p.m. – A criminal mischief report did not require a report.

4:25 p.m. – A suspicious vehicle downtown got the once over.

4:35 p.m. – Officer responded to a lost dog report.

4:57 p.m. – A suspicious male required attention.

6:16 p.m. – A wanted person was located and arrested.

January 31

8:58 a.m. – Officer talked to a man who reported someone looking in his windows, who also said the perp had tried to break into his neighbor’s and he has a video of the man. Officer advised the suspect of a city ordinance against door-to-door sales.

7:28 p.m. – A disturbance on Echols was diffused.

11:47 a.m. – Officer checked the train depot area for a missing man who was found by the sheriff’s office.

February 1

1:25 a.m. – A highway business alarm went off and officer checked, all was secure.

2:39 a.m. – Same business, same alarm, same result.

7 a.m. – Another business needed checking after an alarm.

8:25 a.m. – Caller complained of drumming in Basin Park that was too loud. Officer advised the drummer that a permit was required to play in the bandshell.

8:51 a.m. – Officer went to a residence that a person had been kicked out of yesterday, and caller said some of the items were suspicious.

2:57 p.m. – Caller said there was a loose dog on Kingshighway. Officer located the dog and took it to the ESPD kennel.

4:09 p.m. – A report was taken from a man who showed up at headquarters.

5:37 p.m. – Officers were unable to locate anyone in distress after a welfare check was called in from Spring St.

10:23 p.m. – A burglar alarm resulted in a thorough property check and nothing was amiss.

February 2

12:56 a.m. – A bartender called for assistance and both parties involved were calmed.

9:56 a.m. – Caller said the garage at the back of his commercial property had been broken into again. A report was taken.

10:25 a.m. – An active pursuit of a black sports bike headed west from Car Mart in Berryville was terminated for public safety. The bike and its driver were IDed and officers were on the lookout.

3:14 p.m. – A woman who had been told to not trespass at a downtown business did it anyway and caused a ruckus. She was arrested.

4:08 p.m. – A red-headed man wearing a tan hat, flannel shirt and jeans had been a problem off and on since last night. He was gone on arrival.

February 3

3:41 a.m. – A burglar alarm went off at a highway store and the area was checked and cleared.
