December 2

10:52 a.m. – Officer on patrol witnessed a minor two-vehicle accident and took a report.

12:55 p.m. – Criminal mischief was called in from an apartment complex but it was determined that nothing had really occurred so there was no report.

2:26 p.m. – When a welfare check was requested no one was at the residence.

4:53 p.m. – Officer was sent to Leatherwood Park to check a suspicious person who was gone on arrival.

December 4

5:10 p.m. – A theft was reported at a business, but no report was necessary.

5:21 p.m. – CCSO needed assistance with a wanted person near Stadium Rd.

5:39 p.m. – Officer responded to East Mountain to answer a welfare concern but was unable to locate anyone.

7:38 p.m. – A domestic disturbance required a report.

December 5

2:56 a.m. – Caller insisted a back door of a downtown business was unlocked, so officer checked and that wasn’t the case at all.

1:03 p.m. – Shoplifting at a grocery store resulted in an arrest.

7:40 p.m. – A welfare check turned out fine.

10:37 p.m. – Officer checked out a suspicious male at a liquor store who was sitting in his car.

December 6

3:05 a.m. – A business alarm rang but no one could discover why.

4:22 a.m. – A domestic disturbance got a trespassing report attached to it.

7:42 a.m. – A breaking and entering report was taken at a hotel.

7:59 a.m. – A suspicious person was called in for entering a building on private property.

10:18 a.m. – A tow truck that had been parked at the transit parking lot for days got tagged.

2:10 p.m. – An erratic driver was advised to stop driving erratically.

3:35 p.m. – Criminal mischief at a motel did not warrant a report.

7:38 p.m. – No contact could be made with a welfare concern.

7:56 p.m. – A disturbance on First St. was quelled.

10:58 p.m. – A possibly intoxicated male was up to no good at a gas station.

December 7

7:38 a.m. – A man stealing tags off a vehicle was ratted out and arrested on outstanding child support. A stolen vehicle report was also taken, and that vehicle was found in Alma.

8:53 a.m. – A welfare check resulted in EMS being toned out.

10:01 a.m. – A bus needed escorting down Spring St.

6:21 p.m. – Dogs reported to be left in a vehicle were not found.

7 p.m. – Traffic congestion on Spring St. needed untangling.

11:14 p.m. – Officers were called to a dispute between a man and woman who said they were fine and nothing was wrong.

December 8

1:48 a.m. – An unruly patient at the hospital needed official intervention which turned out not to be the case because the patient was calmer on arrival.

3:20 a.m. – A man was informed that he could not sleep outside a highway business. He was told to leave.

8 a.m. – A hobbling deer was reported and the ACO officer responded. He determined there was swelling around the back hoof, but the deer was ambulating back toward the woods, so the best policy was to not interfere.

10:45 a.m. – A woman reported a young male in a Carhartt jacket and stocking cap carrying an expensive backpack who was on private property and helping himself to water at an exterior spigot. Extra patrols were added, the man was eventually contacted and told not to do any of that anymore.

8:09 p.m. – A report was taken on a hit deer.

9:09 p.m. – A vehicle stuck in the mud at the end of a road got some official attention.

10:59 p.m. – A man said that someone was trying to get in his window in the back, so officers checked out the area.

11:41 p.m. – An erratic driver was last seen headed north on Hwy. 23.
