September 9

11:02 a.m. – A hotel manager reported that a golf cart had been taken for a joy ride on a walking trail and wrecked. An official report was declined at the time the officer responded.

11:20 a.m. – An officer was needed in a domestic situation downtown where a husband would not allow a wife access to her vehicle. Officer stood by with both parties while county deputies were dispatched to file domestic battery charges on an incident at the couple’s residence in the county.

11:34 a.m. – Caller requested a welfare check on their friend, who was spoken with and not in need of medical assistance.

2:36 p.m. – Two people called complaining about a male. Police talked to him about their concerns.

5:48 p.m. – Officer picked up a dog and took it to the kennel.

September 10

1:07 a.m. – Burglar alarm demanded a response.

2:36 a.m. – An altercation, although verbal, was enough to require intervention.

1:12 p.m. – A Be on the Lookout was issued on a missing juvenile female from Green Forest.

3:19 p.m. – A stalled vehicle at Magnetic and Main required road clearing.

7:28 p.m. – Officer assisted a female with her vehicle.

September 11

2:08 a.m. – A highway business alarm was checked, all was well.

7:36 a.m. – Officer responded to the hospital due to an individual in a vehicle parked near the ER entrance. On arrival the person was inside the ER.

1:36 p.m. – A welfare check in a historic neighborhood was made.

2:20 p.m. – An assault report was taken.

7:14 p.m. – Suspicious activity at an apartment complex was called in but no report was needed.

September 12

1:26 a.m. – An alarm call was checked and all was fine.

8:38 a.m. – A welfare check found the subject to be okay.

4:40 p.m. – A traffic accident on East Mountain required a report.

6:48 p.m. – A suspicious male was reported on Magnetic and when officer made contact, the man was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance.

September 13

12:10 a.m. – Officer checked a suspicious vehicle at a business.

1:27 a.m. – An alarm was checked and found to be no cause for alarm.

2:35 a.m. – Caller reported a person in the area of their business and gave a description so an officer could check it out.

12:15 p.m. – A private property accident in a motel lot required a report.

7:51 p.m. – A disturbance at a motel resulted in an arrest.

8:51 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances at an apartment complex checked out fine after a neighbor was contacted.

11:41 p.m. – A traffic stop resulted in the arrest of a man on an ESPD warrant.

September 14

1:24 a.m. – A business alarm was checked and reset.

2:16 a.m. – A woman on N. Main was arrested for public intoxication.

3:16 a.m. – A noise complaint at a motel required an official response.

3:33 a.m. – Suspicious activity at the Lake Leatherwood camping area was unfounded.

10:38 a.m. – Caller needed assistance with a person’s personal belongings.

12:15 p.m. – Officer retrieved a wallet from the person who found it.

2:31 p.m. – A parking issue downtown was checked but did not require a citation.

6:03 p.m. – A woman with an outstanding warrant was placed under arrest.

6:29 p.m. – Officer went to Spring St. in reference to found property.

6:59 p.m. – An erratic driver on N. Main was not located.

7:27 p.m. – Officer assisted another agency at a residence.

8:14 p.m. – Loose dogs were reported but not located.

10:53 p.m. – Vaughn Street had a parking problem that required resolution.

September 15

12:13 a.m. – Officer on patrol noticed an intoxicated male and arrested him.

12:48 a.m. – A possible disturbance at a nightly rental was quelled when officers separated the couple for the night.

1:42 a.m. – A burglary alarm was answered and checked and secure.

1:50 a.m. – Extra noise at a motel was quieted.

5:35 a.m. – A possible trespasser was reported but not found.

8:23 a.m. – Multiple complaints of loud music in a residential area necessitated intervention when the neighbor playing the music became belligerent with an elderly woman walking by. The sound level was checked and an officer spoke with the DJ.

10 a.m. – Caller said someone hit his motorcycle and knocked it over and drove off. A report was taken.

10:56 a.m. – Caller said neighbors were throwing food scraps against the front of a store. Officer couldn’t contact neighbors but intended to do just that only later.

10:58 a.m. – Suspicious activity and paraphernalia were reported near US62, and extra patrol was implemented.

5:09 p.m. – Officer talked to a person about an incident the previous night.

8:10 p.m. – Officer checked for a caller but found nothing and no one.

September 16

12:16 a.m. – Highway business alarm was checked. Nada.
