3:28 p.m. – Officer advised a resident on what to do regarding identity theft.
5:16 p.m. – An alarm call resulted in the owner saying he’s been having trouble with the alarm company.
6:24 p.m. – Caller said people were playing loud music and collecting money from customers. That came to a halt once an officer told the instigators to just stop.
11 p.m. – A vehicle was reportedly impeding traffic on the east side of town.
July 2
9:48 a.m. – Someone found personal property at Basin Park and turned it over to police.
1:23 p.m. – An accident in front of Rogue’s Manor required attention.
2:24 p.m. – A suspicious male was reported on E. Van Buren but he was not located.
2:31 p.m. – A vehicle deemed suspicious got itself towed from private property.
3 p.m. – An animal cruelty report was taken.
6:40 p.m. – A report was required due to a disturbance on Kingshighway.
July 3
4:12 p.m. – Traffic congestion on Spring St. took some untangling.
4:24 p.m. – A traffic stop on Kingshighway resulted in the arrest of a man for driving on a suspended.
7:46 p.m. – A reported suspicious vehicle was gone when an officer arrived.
8:32 p.m. – Officer quelled a disturbance at a Pivot Rock Rd. apartment.
8:58 p.m. – A reckless driver on US62 was called in but not located.
July 4
9:20 a.m. – Caller requested a welfare check on an individual in a downtown parking lot, but the person was not located.
9:34 a.m. – A motorcycle accident with minor injuries at Mountain & Center was tended.
11:23 a.m. – A welfare check on individuals at a motel found everyone to be fine.
3:11 p.m. – A suspicious male was reported but not located.
5:18 p.m. – An accident at Washington and Summit required a report.
6:11 p.m. – A dog left behind at a downtown hotel was put in the ESPD kennel.
7:10 p.m. – Officer saw and arrested a subject with an outstanding warrant.
11:29 p.m. – An Elk St. resident was not happy with fireworks in the night.
July 5
1:09 a.m. – Caller said a man was passed out on the side of the road on S. Main near US 62 but when officer checked he found a male waiting for a ride. The driver picking him up was sober and OK to take the man home.
10:28 a.m. – County dispatch advised there was a burglary alarm at a downtown business but it had been set off by an employee and all was well.
2:21 p.m. – A noise complaint on Spring St. drew an admonishment.
3:41 p.m. – A traffic knot between Magnetic and Passion Play Rd. was unraveled.
4:23 p.m. – A dog in a car drew attention and was found to be fine.
5:07 p.m. – A theft at an apartment on Kingshighway got a report.
7:17 p.m. – Officers assisted EMS.
9:01 p.m. – Officer went to a motel for a welfare check.
9:28 p.m. – Officer responded to ESH to assist staff with a patient.
10:36 p.m. – Officer called back to the hospital to check on the same patient who seemed fine.
July 6
1:41 a.m. – An alarm at a US62 fast food restaurant was found to be false.
1:02 p.m. – A welfare check at an apartment found the individual to be fine.
1:44 p.m. – A private property accident downtown required a report.
1:44 p.m. – Two women were arrested at a traffic stop, one for driving on a suspended and one for having an outstanding ESPD warrant.
2:46 p.m. – A theft was reported on Spring St.
4:19 p.m. – An accident on Spring St. required a report.
4:49 p.m. – There was traffic congestion on Norris St. that needed to be unsnarled.
9:07 p.m. – Traffic wrinkle on Prospect St. was ironed out.
July 7
9:05 a.m. – A child exchange dispute was resolved without incident.
9:32 a.m. – A woman was arrested for driving on a suspended license.
11:46 a.m. – A business alarm on Main St. was reset.
11:55 a.m. – A man said he left a firearm in a drawer in his hotel room but staff said it wasn’t there and that there had been others who stayed in that room after he was there.
3:02 p.m. – Caller said their medication was stolen while they were staying at a motel for the weekend. A report was taken.
