June 17

11:26 a.m. – Caller was concerned about a parking issue on Singleton and Ridgeway which was resolved when the vehicles were moved.

12:08 p.m. – A woman on US62 was apprised of the ordinance against panhandling.

1:53 p.m. – A motel manager wanted to talk to an officer about a motel guest. No report was needed.

5:02 p.m. – Officer responded to a call from a business complaining that a customer kept bringing an unleashed dog in, so the dog owner got a talking to about the leash law and that was that.

10:40 p.m. – An area motel had unsettling activity that was soothed when an officer arrived.

11:28 p.m. – Two reported trespassers caught the attention of an officer on patrol.

11:52 p.m. – A disturbance at an apartment resulted in the arrest of a man for an outstanding county warrant.

June 18

7:23 a.m. – Local hotel manager asked that officer deal with a male and female trespassing in a room, so obviously they were asked to leave and they did.

8:56 a.m. – The hospital reported a patient with a dog bite for a report and further accountability.

9:43 a.m. – Suspicious people were reported at a convenience store and officer directed them to leave the premises.

10:45 a.m. – A report of possible verbal abuse at a nursing facility was written up.

4:05 p.m. – A drummer on Spring St. was disturbing others and told no amplifiers could be used on downtown streets.

4:40 p.m. – Improper parking on Benton St. was rectified with a citation.

5:53 p.m. – A suspicious female was reported on E. Van Buren and she was contacted by an officer who saw no reason for a report.

10:04 p.m. – Caller claimed a man who could be drunk was sitting on the trail at his business but when officer got there he was gone.

June 19

12:29 a.m. – Caller wanted an officer to shine a light behind a building to illuminate a squatter. She said officer should already know this as she had called about it all day.

8:19 a.m. – Two people sleeping in a vehicle in a motel lot were asked to leave the property.

2:54 p.m. – A W. Van Buren accident required a report.

2:57 p.m. – An erratic driver was reported, stopped, and advised about her driving.

3:19 p.m. – A woman was spoken to in reference to a disturbance.

3:49 p.m. – A man on Howell St. was spoken with regarding a civil matter.

5:41p.m. – A suspicious male was reported on E. Van Buren but officer was unable to locate him.

5:52 p.m. – An open door on E. Van Buren was checked out. Everything was fine.

8:38 p.m. – A suspicious person reported near Mountain and Eureka Sts. was not located.

10:47 p.m. – Caller requested a welfare check on a woman in one of her apartments.

June 20

9:33 a.m. – A landlord reported that squatters could have spent the night in an empty apartment.

9:59 a.m. – Officer requested a tow truck for an illegally parked vehicle.

12:06 p.m. – Officers pursued a vehicle that had been forcibly taken from a woman. Pursuit ended at NAPA on E. Van Buren and the vehicle returned to its owner.

3:27 p.m. – Officer assisted sheriff’s deputies at an E. Van Buren ministry.

5:04 p.m. – A possible disturbance on Pivot Rock Rd. was not as disturbing as reported.

5:05 p.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported but not located.

6:45 p.m. – A report was taken regarding an accident in the area of Judah St.

10:10 p.m. – The sheriff’s office said a man was getting threatened and his truck was stolen from his daughter, and although ESPD talked with the man, it was CCSO jurisdiction so they took over.

June 21

11 a.m. – Two small dogs qualified for a report as they were trotting around loose with no collars, IDs, human, etc. Animal Control Officer reunited them with their owner.

12:07 p.m. – A civil issue between co-owners of a property was tended.

2:50 p.m. – An E. Mountain traffic problem turned out not to be.

2:55 p.m. – Officer was needed for traffic assistance on Main St.

3:22 p.m. – A reported theft did not require a report.

4 p.m. – Officer took a report concerning a theft.

4:27 p.m. – Officer responded to an unattended death at Victoria Woods.

8 p.m. – A 911 hangup was tracked down and all was fine.

10:49 p.m. – Loud music on Emporia was checked out.

June 22

12:21 a.m. ­– A suspicious incident was investigated.

6:09 a.m. – A woman said her grandson was heading home from work and following a car with Georgia tags from Eureka Springs to Berryville that was being driven slowly. It pulled over so he stopped to see if the driver was okay and the woman driver said she was going to Florida. The grandson followed the woman back to Eureka and helped her get a room but asked that an officer make sure the lady was okay, which he did.

10:06 a.m. – Caller wanted the coin machine behind their business fixed. Officer took care of it.

2:38 p.m. – An injured deer was reported on Center St. but it was gone when officer arrived.

2:50 p.m. – Officer checked downtown on a welfare concern for an elderly couple, but no one needing assistance was located.

4 p.m. – A man was arrested on a warrant.

4:13 p.m. – An alarm that went off on Ridgeway was checked.

4:18 p.m. – An animal problem on W. Van Buren was looked into.

5:12 p.m. – A welfare concern on E. Van Buren was tended.

11:17 p.m. – A drunk man was reported on Spring St. and officer responded.

June 23

1:51 a.m. – Officer assisted EMS at a hotel.

3:50 a.m. – Caller reported suspicious noises at a motel.

10:56 a.m. – Multiple callers reported a tree down across Benton St. with high line wires but no arcing.

12:12 p.m. – A rear end collision with no injuries on Van Buren required a report.

3:50 p.m. – A man said he lost his wallet but businesses reported use of his credit cards, so a report was required.

10:11 p.m. – A report was taken for a 3rd degree battery on Elk St.
