9:50 p.m. – Officers checked on a possibly downed tree on King St.

11:16 p.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported in a fast food parking lot.

June 4

11:06 a.m. – A theft was reported at a local business.

1:02 p.m. – A phone report was received about a theft at another business.

1:23 p.m. – Officer responded to a harassment report.

3:45 p.m. – A traffic snarl was unsnarled at Magnetic and Passion Play Rd.

4:30 p.m. – A person deemed suspicious was advised not to return to a business.

June 5

11:16 a.m. – Officer answered a call regarding transients camping on private property, so extra patrol was put in place.

11:37 a.m. – Officer saw someone fall in front of a highway motel and requested transport to ESH.

12:33 p.m. – Officer assisted an individual in finding a lost iPad.

2:01 p.m. – Vehicle accident at Main and Magnetic was tended and a report filed.

3:24 p.m. – A woman was talked to about child custody and no report was needed.

June 6

8:16 a.m. – Hotel owner alerted police to a seemingly intoxicated individual who left their lobby headed east on US62.

3:45 p.m. – An accident at Mountain and Spring Sts. warranted a report.

4:02 p.m. – A traffic hazard at Prospect and Ridgeway got all fixed up when a vehicle moved out of the way.

5:29 p.m. – A disturbance at a motel was quieted once the law arrived.

8:05 p.m. – Same motel, same type of disturbance, same resolution, maybe same parties but the report didn’t indicate that.

11:13 p.m. – Caller at a motel requested an officer remove a subject from the property but the officer was unable to make contact with the subject.

June 7

4:15 a.m. – An ER nurse asked for help with an intoxicated male who was belligerent and combative. Officer calmed him down and got someone to pick him up.

8:58 a.m. – A tree that fell on Ellis Grade required an officer to direct traffic while Pubic Works tended the tree.

2 p.m. – An individual wanted to talk about his illegally parked car that was towed.

2:03 p.m. – Officer located and counseled a reckless driver who had been called in to county dispatch.

2:17 p.m. – Officer drove to Benton County to pick up a man arrested on an outstanding ESPD warrant.

2:33 p.m. – It was determined that a theft occurred outside city jurisdiction.

2:54 p.m. – Officer took a report of a forgery.

5:11 p.m. – Officer responded to a report of a suspicious male around Armstrong St.

5:32 p.m. – Same report of the same male in the same location. Same resolution, which was a response by law enforcement.

6:35 p.m. – A man was arrested on an outstanding Carroll County warrant.

8:04 p.m. – A car alarm was found alarming on Wall Street.

11:58 p.m. – A woman was arrested for speeding and DWI-1.

June 8

12:50 a.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported in a bar parking lot.

7:58 p.m. – Officer went to a local hotel due to three unauthorized dogs running loose. Owner was notified.

2:10 p.m. – A citation settled a traffic problem at Wall and Armstrong.

4:17 p.m. – An alarm at a local business got excited for no apparent reason.

4:46 p.m. – Officer had a chat with a dog owner who left the dog in a vehicle.

5:23 p.m. – An open line 911 call was tracked down and found to be accidental.

8:21 p.m. – A lost dog became a found dog.

11:52 p.m. – A woman was arrested for DWI-2 and possession of a controlled substance felony.

June 9

7:17 a.m. – Caller reported a snake in the cellar, it turned out to be a black snake that was relocated to a more woodsy environment.

8:35 a.m. – Caller reported an injured fawn in her yard, so ACO and officers responded and advised the fawn be left alone for its mother to collect as its injuries were not life threatening.

10:49 a.m. – A report was required for overnight damage done to a vehicle in a hotel parking lot.

12:53 p.m. – A vehicle hit a pillar by a stairway at a motel, so it qualified for a report.

1:34 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances arose when a complainant claimed he lost his phone the previous night and it was showing up at an apartment complex, so officers assisted in the phone’s retrieval.

11:12 p.m. – A traffic stop netted a driver who was charged with driving on a suspended (DWI) and careless driving.
