March 12

1:06 a.m. – A man was arrested at a downtown hotel for failure to appear on an ESPD warrant.

12:01 p.m. – A guest who refused to leave a motel was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Springdale.

5:43 p.m. – An officer responded to the station in reference to speaking to a female in reference to a theft.

March 13

7:38 a.m. – A two-vehicle accident in front of McDonald’s required a report.

4:45 p.m. – Officers were summoned to assist EMS with a male but they were disregarded when it was found to be a medical problem.

5 p.m. – A vehicle on Owen St. was abandoned and red tagged.

5:56 p.m. – A traffic accident at E. Mountain and US62 required a report.

7:47 p.m. – A vehicle was parked in a handicapped zone at Mountain and Spring Sts. and not only was the vehicle moved, the owner was rebuked.

March 14

5:21 p.m. – Bad parking at Mountain and Spring Sts. warranted official intervention for resolution.

March 15

8:58 p.m. – A one-vehicle rollover on Grand Ave. resulted in the driver getting arrested for a DWI.

9:30 p.m. – Caller said her ex was harassing her, tampering with her vehicle and disturbing guests where she works, but the ex was gone when officers arrived. They contacted him by phone and told him not to return to the property.

March 16

10:48 a.m. – Caller was checking on permits for a hot dog stand in a downtown parking lot, and the stand was consequently shut down for lack of permits.

11:28 a.m. – Caller requested a welfare check on a co-worker who was found to be fine, as were her children.

12:46 p.m. – A residential alarm squawked but circumstances warranted a response, not an investigation.

1:21 p.m. – A caller reported that a white Ford hit two vehicles and a utility pole in a parking lot before leaving the Pine St. scene. Officer spoke to complainant.

1:44 p.m. – Sheriff’s deputies reported an accident sans injuries in front of Equity Bank. ESPD took a report.

2:58 p.m. – A repeat of the squawking alarm was reported and the outcome was the same.

3:07 p.m. – A vehicle on N. Main was reported for blocking a driveway and the issue was resolved without anger.

3:47 p.m. – An open 911 line on Pine St. was checked out and all was found to be quiet.

4:13 p.m. – Officers were unable to locate a driver reported for drinking on US62E.

6:08 p.m. – A man was arrested on Main St. for public intox.
