February 25

12:25 p.m. – Officers responded to an apartment for a verbal disturbance and arrested a man on an outstanding county warrant.

4:48 p.m. – Complaint of a blue Ford pickup parked in a red zone and blocking drivers’ sight resulted in a conversation and the truck being reparked.

5:50 p.m. – Several people were told for a second time that smoking and allowing dogs to run loose in Basin Park was not acceptable and citations were coming if they didn’t comply.

9:54 p.m. – Multiple calls reported a disturbance at an apartment, and the male had left before officers arrived. The woman and young child appeared to be okay and no charges were filed.

February 26

3:32 p.m. – Possible shots were reported fired in the Greenwood Hollow area but officers found nothing.

7:14 p.m. – Telephone harassment at a residence required a report.

February 27

4:12 a.m. – Complainant reported his girlfriend locked him out of the house and it was torn up. He said she left before an officer arrived, but officer contacted the caller to see if a report was needed.

1:42 p.m. – Transients begging for money in Basin Park were advised of ordinances against panhandling.

2:37 p.m. – Officer saw a woman walking down the street acting suspicious. He checked on her and she had an outstanding warrant from Berryville, thus was arrested.

4:28 p.m. – A report was taken regarding abuse of a resident at a local nursing home.

6:28 p.m. – Cars were reported parked on the road shoulder on Kingshighway causing a traffic hazard, but officer never found them.

8:39 p.m. – A disturbance was reported on the historic loop, but after an officer talked with involved party everything quieted down.

February 28

3:25 p.m. – A theft was determined to be a civil issue and no report was filed.

10:09 p.m. – A reported reckless driver required a response from police.

March 1

4 p.m. – Officer spoke to a woman in the ESPD lobby about a possible theft, and he took a report.

5:57 p.m. – Officer assisted with an alarm check at a residence, it was found to be secure.

7:22 p.m. – A report was taken in reference to a theft.

8:30 p.m. – Same situation as above except this time it was a business.

8:38 p.m. – Officer responded to an apartment complex for a welfare concern. The party was contacted and fine.

March 2

2:38 a.m. – As a result of checking a suspicious person, a man was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Springdale PD.

1:11 p.m. – An officer responded to a Vaughn St. residence in response to a possible assault.

1:48 p.m. – When a theft was reported at a Spring St. business, an officer made contact and all property was returned. There was no report.

3:09 p.m. – Officers were dispatched to Mountain St. in reference to an unattended death.

6:06 p.m. – An assault at a Mountain St. apartment did not require a report.

7:07 p.m. – Suspicious people reported on US62E could not be located.

8:40 p.m. – A suspicious person was reported on US62E but the suspect was found to be security.

10:43 p.m. – As a result of a traffic stop a man was arrested for driving while intoxicated and driving left of center.

March 3

12:28 a.m. – A man was arrested on Hwy. 23S for drunk driving.
