November 19

1:19 p.m. – Vehicle in an apartment parking lot acquired a dent overnight.

2:21 p.m. – Dog was abandoned at the dog park. Constables were unable to get near it, and Animal Control contacted Parks personnel.

9:49 p.m. – Constables discovered a small child at a motel had made a 911 hang-up call.

November 20

12:12 p.m. – There was a two-vehicle accident on US 62 toward the west side of town.

7:25 p.m. – Concerned witness reported a reckless driver on US 62. Constable found the vehicle in a parking lot but did not find the driver.

November 21

12:33 a.m. – Individual reported hearing a motor of some kind running beside the house where there should not have been a motorized device. Constables searched the area but did not find anything suspicious.

1:27 p.m. – Constables responded to a domestic incident in progress and arrested one person for third degree domestic battery.

4:34 p.m. – As the result of a complaint, the constable spoke to a reportedly suspicious person in a neighborhood, but found nothing to report.

4:43 p.m. – And just up the street another complaint about a suspicious person, and again constable found nothing to report.

4:48 p.m. – Another call from the same neighborhood, and this time the constable filed a report about criminal mischief.

November 22

2:55 p.m. – Someone reported fireworks exploding near downtown, but constable did not find the source.

3:38 p.m. – An alarm downtown was triggered, and the constable got it reset.

4:20 p.m. – Another complaint about fireworks in the same area near downtown, but again the constable did not find any fireworks activity.

7:25 p.m. – And just up the hill from previous call came a request for a welfare check, and again the constable did not find anything to report.

November 23

4:36 p.m. – Constable took a report on a private property accident.

5:36 p.m. – There was a disturbance in the south part of town that a constable was able to resolve.

November 24

6:22 p.m. – Someone at a motel along US 62 reported a suspicious vehicle. Constables responded and discovered the vehicle checked out okay.

7:12 p.m. – Constable filed a theft report.

7:49 p.m. – Concerned observer reported the door of a business on Main Street was open. Constable discovered the business was still open.

November 25

12:20 a.m. – Constables assisted EMS with a call.

12:57 a.m. – Dogs were barking at a residence on Main Street. Constable passed on the information to Animal Control for follow-up.

2:33 a.m. – There was a disturbance near a bar downtown, but the constable found nothing to report.

1:58 p.m. – Traffic stop resulted in the arrest of the driver for outstanding warrants for failure to appear to pay fines.

10:28 p.m. – ESFD and constables responded to a smoke alarm and the smell of smoke at a residence near downtown. They discovered the cause of the smoke was a pot on a stove that boiled dry. No damage except some smoke.
