September 10

2:24 p.m. – Person previously warned to stay away from ESH returned and was arrested for criminal trespass.

9:04 p.m. – Constable checked to see if lights were out after an event at the high school.

11:48 p.m. – Apartment dweller was raising a ruckus so the constable stopped by.

September 11

10:47 a.m. – Individual reported his vehicle had been stolen from the parking lot of a business on US 62.

11:32 a.m. – There was a two-vehicle accident at a downtown intersection.

11:35 a.m. – Constable on patrol went to an apartment complex for a theft report.

12:15 p.m. – Another person called to report a theft, and constable tried to follow up.

3:25 p.m. – There was an accident on US 62.

September 12

2:40 p.m. – Constable happened to encounter person with an outstanding CCSO warrant and arrested her.

6:04 p.m. – Someone reported a parking issue at a downtown intersection, but the constable did not find any problems.

6:57 p.m. – Concerned observer reported an erratic driver downtown.

7:04 p.m. – Resident in a neighborhood above downtown complained about a barking dog. Constable spoke with the complainant.

7:35 p.m. – Another accident on the highway.

September 13

8:08 a.m. – Constable took a theft report at a motel.

9:33 a.m. – Central dispatch reported two motorcyclists driving erratically on their way to Eureka Springs from the east. Constables never encountered them.

3:52 p.m. – Wandering dogs were seen near Hwy 23 South, but the constable did not see them.

5:59 p.m. – Business on US 62 reported a vehicle apparently abandoned in the parking lot. Constable responded, and the vehicle was towed.

7:38 p.m. – Constable checked on a possible breaking and entering in the north part of town.

8:57 p.m. – Caller claimed a person refused to leave the premises, but the person left while the constable was en route.

September 14

12:01 a.m. – Constable downtown noticed two inebriated individuals and asked dispatch to call a taxi for them.

5:31 p.m. – Constable performed an agency assist in a neighborhood in the west part of town.

6:52 p.m. – Person who parked a motorcycle on a sidewalk got a citation.

7:38 p.m. – Staff at a hotel reported a theft.

September 15

8:54 a.m. – Constable responded to reports of an erratic driver in a semi headed to town from the west. Constable spoke to the driver and determined no report was necessary.

12:12 p.m. – There was a two-vehicle accident at the top of Planer Hill. No injuries.

2:04 p.m. – Constables were available for traffic control while EMS assisted an individual at a restaurant.

2:41 p.m. – Constables watched for a reportedly erratic motorcyclist headed to town.

3:28 p.m. – Constable took a report regarding criminal mischief.

3:31 p.m. – Concerned observer reported speeders going through a neighborhood just east of downtown.

5:33 p.m. – Central dispatch reported a 911 hang-up call, and the constable found the situation checked out just fine.

6:52 p.m. – A vehicle was parked in a handicapped spot, and constable asked the owner to move it.

September 16

12:49 a.m. – Individual was harassing customers and staff at a downtown establishment. Constable told him to leave and not come back and arrested him for public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia.

4:51 a.m. – There was an open door at the Transit Center bus barn. Constable cleared the building.

11:16 a.m. – Person downtown flagged down a constable to report a gas smell. The gas company responded.

6:15 p.m. – Supervisor at a restaurant claimed he had asked an employee to leave several times and the person refused until just before the constable arrived.

11:08 p.m. – A couple was having a loud dispute at the same restaurant. They told the constable it had been a verbal disagreement only.

September 17

6:22 a.m. – Constable assisted a mother who was having a problem with her child.
