September 3

1:18 p.m. – Husband and wife were creating a disturbance with restaurant staff. Constable on patrol stopped by and found common ground for everyone.

4:55 p.m. – Green Forest PD alerted ESPD to a stolen vehicle that might be in city limits. Constable found the vehicle and notified GFPD.

11:02 p.m. – There was vandalism at a church for the second consecutive day.

September 4

1:08 a.m. – Concerned caller reported a possible domestic issue.

September 5

1:50 a.m. – Witness downtown reported seeing two males push a female into a vehicle and drive away. Constable scoured the area but did not encounter the vehicle.

7:36 a.m. – Traffic stop resulted in an arrest for driving on a suspended license and on outstanding warrants from Berryville PD and Benton County.

11:11 a.m. – Innkeeper filed a report on criminal mischief.

11:55 a.m. – Manager of a business reported an unauthorized person had dumped trash in the dumpster.

1:43 p.m. – There was a two-vehicle accident in a neighborhood. No injuries.

8:29 p.m. – A different innkeeper reported criminal mischief.

September 6

9:34 a.m. – The first innkeeper called again because someone kicked in the laundry room door.

11:13 a.m. – Bystander in gas station parking lot saw two males pour beer into cups before driving away. Constable on patrol watched for the vehicle and noticed it had an expired vehicle license. He initiated a traffic stop and issued citations.

7:48 p.m. – Constable responded to a possible disturbance downtown.

September 7

1:34 a.m. – A person called 911 with a breathing problem and then hung up. EMS transported the person to ESH.

4:55 p.m. – There was a temporary parking problem downtown which resolved itself.

5:47 p.m. – Another parking issue near downtown in which the constable determined the vehicle was parked legally.

September 8

6:56 a.m. – Constables responded to a 911 open line call from a hotel and arrested one person for third degree battery, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, terroristic threatening, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and interfering with emergency communication.

8:15 a.m. – Constable checked on the same parking complaint near downtown.

9:18 a.m. – Caller from a business on US 62 reported a female in a vehicle in the parking lot claimed the vehicle ran out of gas and her companion left to go get gas and has not returned. The property owner wanted the vehicle towed.

1:26 p.m. – Another parking issue in a different spot near downtown. This time the constable issued a citation.

1:47 p.m. – Observer complained about a downtown musician screaming. Constable asked the screamer to moderate his noise.

8:09 p.m. – Constable took a report of a vicious dog.

9:18 p.m. – Witness called in an erratic driver downtown, but constables never encountered the car.

10:05 p.m. – Music at a downtown establishment prompted a noise complaint.

10:08 p.m. – Constables assisted EMS with an inebriated individual.

10:30 p.m. – There was domestic upheaval which drew the attention of constables. The couple went separate ways for the night.

September 9

1:27 a.m. – Passerby noticed a vehicle parked in a motel parking lot had an open door and the interior light on but no one was nearby. Constable found the owner who had forgotten to close the door.

2:10 a.m. – Another domestic dispute and the couple separated for the night.

9:21 a.m. – Constable on patrol noticed a window had been broken at a downtown business.

10:02 a.m. – A daughter asked for a welfare check on her mother who had been seen at a motel. Constable spoke with the mother and determined she was okay, and the mother returned home.

11:23 a.m. – Person at a church accidentally called 911.

11:43 a.m. – A fender bender in a parking lot on Main Street stirred up some arguing. Constables intervened and everyone went different directions.

1:39 p.m. – Witness reported an individual was yelling and throwing a bag around as he walked along US 62. Constables spoke with him and he checked out okay.

September 10

2:08 a.m. – Person who had been belligerent to ESH staff in the past was loitering on the property again. Constable told him to leave the premises and not return unless he had a medical emergency.

6:45 a.m. – A group was suspiciously hanging around on restaurant property, but they were gone when the constable arrived.
