6:28 p.m. – Constables responded to a domestic disturbance and arrested one person on outstanding warrant out of Sebastian County and another person for possession of drug paraphernalia, aggravated assault of a family or household member, false imprisonment, fleeing, obstructing governmental operations, possession of a controlled substance, simultaneous possession- drugs and firearms, theft by receiving and theft of property.
June 5
10 a.m. – Constables were on alert for a particular vehicle to perform a welfare check on a child with a couple. A protection order was also involved.
1:25 p.m. – There was an accident in a parking lot.
8:08 p.m. – Constable had a word with the owners of illegally parked vehicles on a narrow road in the eastern part of town.
June 6
4:21 a.m. – As a result of a noise complaint, the constable asked folks in a neighborhood above downtown to keep it down.
7:17 a.m. – Tourist lodging owner told ESPD there was a possibly inebriated person who was not a registered guest lounging by the pool. Constable arrested him for public intoxication and warned him not to return to the premises.
7:37 a.m. – Constable spotted the vehicle connected with a request for a welfare check on a child and arrested the driver for violation of a protection order for a prior domestic violence incident.
11:16 a.m. – Caller alerted ESPD to possible squatters on his property. Constable resolved the matter.
12:46 p.m. – Concerned witness reported seeing a couple in a vehicle screaming at each other with the female yelling the male was driving drunk. Constables watched for but did not encounter the vehicle.
1:31 p.m. – Constable went to ESH to get information for a report on a domestic violence incident.
9 p.m. – Individual claimed there had been a theft. Constable determined the situation was a civil issue between the individual and his caretaker.
9:24 p.m. – There was a disturbance at a restaurant. Constable spoke with the whole bunch and filed a report.
10:33 p.m. – Constable holdiong an outstanding warrant went looking for an individual who was not there.
June 7
9:21 a.m. – Woman claimed her wallet disappeared from her purse while she was with a friend. Her wallet showed up in a lost and found.
4:09 p.m. – Constable went to a tourist lodging to check on a theft.
7:24 p.m. – A couple of men got into a fight near the post office. Constable got a statement from the victim.
7:31 p.m. – Call came in about a male and female fighting near a motel pool. Constable was told, however, there had been no disturbance at all.
10:28 p.m. – An alarm at a business on US 62 was triggered, but constable found the place secure.
June 8
4:02 a.m. – Observer asked for a constable to check on an individual sitting on a bench near a business in the commercial area of US 62. Upon arrival of a constable, the person walked back to his motel room.
11:43 a.m. – There was a one-vehicle accident on Main St.
12:44 p.m. – Constable on patrol encountered two people with outstanding warrants and arrested them.
6:15 p.m. – Observer reported a possibly intoxicated person on US 62, but the constable did not see him.
8:31 p.m. – This time the report was about a possibly intoxicated person on Main St. Constable did encounter the man and determined he was not intoxicated.
11:18 p.m. – As the result of a disturbance downtown, one person was arrested for public intoxication.
June 9
8:20 p.m. – Constables advised folks on North Main to turn down their music a bit.
10:17 p.m. – Another noise complaint about music at a tourist lodging on US 62, and constables had to moderate the volume.
10:43 p.m. – There was a domestic incident at a hotel. The couple claimed it had been verbal only, and they separated for the night.
10:52 p.m. – Constable was on alert for a reportedly reckless driver on Hwy. 23 South.
June 10
1:17 a.m. – Constable responded to a dispute which involved damage to a vehicle.
1:58 a.m. – A gentleman could not find his wife, and constables assisted in the search.
2:12 a.m. – A couple had a spat that drew the attention of a constable, and they separated for the night.
3:02 a.m. – Constable went to a motel because somebody was being noisy.
8:18 a.m. – Husband at a motel asked for constable assistance finding his wife. Constables stood by, and he found her.
10:47 a.m. – Constable filed a theft report.
12:07 p.m. – Animal Control issued a warning to the owner of a dog locked in a vehicle.
9:45 p.m. – Clerk at a business reported a person causing a disturbance. Constables spoke with all involved, and calm was restored.
June 11
8:24 a.m. – Constable encountered individuals sleeping a vehicle and informed them of local laws.
