March 19

1:53 p.m. – Constable stopped a reckless driver downtown and issued a verbal warning.

2:51 p.m. – Concerned witness reported a drinking driver near downtown. Constables watched for the vehicle but did not encounter it.

11:46 p.m. – Constable checked on an alarm and found the building secure.

March 20

2 p.m. – Staff at an inn found drug paraphernalia in a room, which a constable collected as evidence.

5:46 p.m. – At the request of another agency, a constable located an individual and reported the information to the agency.

March 21

10:54 a.m. – Delivery truck downtown almost hit two vehicles and blocked traffic for a bit. It was gone when constable arrived.

12:23 p.m. – Someone at a hotel accidentally made a 911 hang-up call.

2:42 p.m. – Van temporarily parked in a No Parking zone in a neighborhood.

6:22 p.m.– Witness in the northeast part of town called in a reckless driver. Constable reconnoitered the vehicle but saw no reason to initiate a traffic stop.

6:26 p.m. – Individual at an inn accidentally called 911.

March 22

11:21 a.m. – Concerned caller asked for a welfare check on a dog. Constable found the dog doing well for an old dog.

1:55 p.m. – Central dispatch reported a possible trespasser in a neighborhood above downtown. Constable determined the situation was a civil issue.

2:36 p.m. – Observer told ESPD there were two young kids on Main Street. Constable encountered them at Basin Park and took them home.

6:34 p.m. – Constable on patrol responded to ESH and arrested an intoxicated individual.

8:15 p.m. – Constables responded to a possible break-in in the eastern part of town and arrested one person for domestic violence and disorderly conduct and another on outstanding warrants from Springdale, Fayetteville and Eureka Springs.

10:48 p.m. – Observer reported a possible theft in progress at a location just off US 62. Constable found an open door but nothing was missing.

March 23

5:55 p.m. – Constable followed up on a 911 hang-up call from a motel, but everything seemed to be okay.

8:16 p.m. – Witness reported possibly intoxicated driver downtown. Constables encountered the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. Driver was arrested for DWI, implied consent and careless driving.

8:53 p.m. – Someone alerted ESPD to a reckless driver in the northeast part of town, but the constable determined the driver was okay.

March 24

6:31 p.m. – There was a one-vehicle accident just north of downtown.

March 25

1:51 p.m. – As the result of a traffic stop, the driver was arrested for driving on a suspended license, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

March 26

3:03 a.m. – Intoxicated female without any clothes was running around on hotel property. Constable determined she was not a guest of the hotel, and arrested her for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
